I have to agree with mega on this .. I prefer using adrenalines on all non dodging kits. Hence fitness becomes more valuable. Also, IMO, shield recharge rate is truly underrated on BSN; it is one of the most powerful tools at a players disposal ...
More like 'passives are for scrubs'

F Expose, rank 6 Tech Armor + 5 Ranks of fitness = Turian tank!
I thought you like dat type of women, man.
Kinda get it from the claymore/raider thread.

If only you'd gotten a thong pic :'(
Hey Mega! ![]()
I think we can all agree having a 1 second sheild recharge delay on a Krogan with a 70% damage reduction whilst in Rage mode is quite hilarious to play.

I just want to survive one banshee warp/atlas rocket with bleed out. How much health do I need for that?

But not as hilarious as seeing Krogan builds involving a pistol melee stunner. Pyjak! ![]()

I think vast majority is an overstatement. Other than Drell skipping pull, or oddball builds like BF3 soldier skipping AR, most kits have 3 powers worth speccing into. I don't get all the Lash haters for instance..
Going back to intelligent discussions instead of that... Thing...
This would be true if those powers were taken out of context. But, they do have a context, in the sense that they're tied to all the other powers the kit has. And this can change things, because even if a power is worth speccing into usually, you might find that with a certain set of powers it becomes redundant and almost useless. Then speccing into fitness becomes more appealing.
Take the Slasher, for example. You say you don't get lash haters. Well, I'm not an expert of the power since I barely use it at all, but let's assume you're right and the power actually is good and useful in general. Put it on the Slasher now. What are you going to use lash for that is not achieved by warp too? Lash is usually used as a CC power, right? Well, warp covers that too. A Phantom is about to stab a teammate? You can lash her, I get it. But you can achieve the same with warp, as she'll either flip or bubble. Same for other lashable enemies... Warp will either stagger them and give you time to reload/kill/gtfo, or will make them dodge and give you even more time. While retaining all the other super useful properties it has. So, the question I ask myself is: do I really EVER want to use that power, if I can warp instead? And the answer, to myself, is no, I am not. You use it for BEs too I guess, but I don't need it, the way I play the kit. A single humanoid enemy gets a combination of warp and claymore to the face. More than one get a combination of warp, claymore and cluster grenades up their asses. I can't see a single situation where I would rather lash than warp, pretty much.
So... Yeah, I spec fitness when it's like that. And it happens, sometimes. It's just that there must be a reason for it, you understand what I mean? If there's nothing peculiar like that, I won't put points into fitness.
I just want to survive one banshee warp/atlas rocket with bleed out. How much health do I need for that?
Two phases to that. Initial splash and DOT. Whether you had DR from a dodge, cover, etc would factor hugely into that part of it. You can get DR in the intial splash and to slow DOT damage by my experience.
But not as hilarious as seeing Krogan builds involving a pistol melee stunner. Pyjak!
I beg your pardon...a pistol melee stunner is the PERFECT accessory to accompany a Hot Pink Krogan. Fabulous™. ![]()

Lash saves on Cluster Nades.. I don't want to Warp/Nade constantly. I want to have fun.. and Lash happens to be one of the 3 most fun powers in the game IMO. Lash also works across the map, Warp/Claymore does not bc Claymore does not (on this kit anyway). You're such a min/maxer Deerber.. no fun at all.
Haha I know. Man, each of use finds fun in a particular way, in this game. To you, using lash is fun. To me, roflstomping stuff with clusters is fun.
Fun is subjective.
That's why I rarely talk about it, unless someone specifies he's talking about fun stuff. Because if you talk about fun, everything's right and nothing is. If I'm gonna have a discussion about something, I'd rather it be about more objective kind of stuff like what's more efficient.
So you see, it's not like I don't have fun. I do have fun in my own ways, actually. Which usually involves a good amount of roflstomp, but sometimes it goes weird ways like volus bubble melee builds (getting those 50 melee kills with friends is HARD) or a scorpion GI or whatever... It's just that I rarely talk about it ![]()
I'm a Scrub!
Fun is overpowered.
Oh good, the dumbarse's back! Are you sure the place where you shait this morning wasn't your brain? It certainly would seem so.
^ Lol mad
Anyway ya'll check out my 50 melee medal Platinum build in sig.
Won't be disappointed
Caveat that it might be pc master race only
