This is the end of a Templar, heavily brain damaged. It is because they are unholy, they are man made, they are not the product of nature, the Maker don't make them, they are the product of a corrupt religious political organization.

How this guy is useful for the society? How this person want to provide his family? His life is ruin, that what happen to drug addict

How is a Grey Warden usefull to society?
By the things he does before he dies.
Templars are very usefull to society.
They willingly sacrifice themselves for the people - just like Grey Wardens.

And Mages? Mages the product of the devil. They are not a product of nature, but the corruption of the Fade.

You of course realize that this particular Templar you highlight here, had already reached his age of retirement, but he himself wished to continue serving. So instead of turning a loyal subject away, the Chantry gave him a guard duty, which is mostly just for show. This way he is happy, and the Chantry keep the Templars visible.

EDIT: oh wait I forgot, you probably dont realize that.....

I think that is enough to show that Templar must be disbanded, their role is only to serve the Chantry, they will be wasted after being used

While a Mage can serve the society in many ways, becoming healers, engineers, and surely magic have many uses, "magic exist to SERVE MEN", so Mages even when old, they can serve the society with their magic

Yes, magic is arguably useful in a healing capacity, but it's really redundant elsewhere, and not needed.

Look at that guy in the screenshot crusading with his mighty sword by ignoring his duties and protecting the villagers. Look at him! He reeks of nastiness.

Keep in mind that the templars left with the Chantry priests before all the villagers did, such as Hawke.

Witch Hunt explicitly states that the Templars were the only military force that remained behind, and that many of the Templars remained in Lothering and held of the Darkspawn, while the villagers attempted to escape.

Contradicted by the later canon of Dragon Age 2. Call it a retcon if you will.

You get a single line from one of the Hawke's which is highly subjective, versus the objective statement from DA:O. No retcon is necessary.

It's quite explicit, really.

I wouldn't go so far as to call mages the spawn of satan... But they DO present a real danger to everyone around them.

Did it, or did it not come from a character within the game? If yes; then it is subjective, and your entire point is null and void. We have WoG in the form of the objective description of Lothering from Witch Hunt, which explicitly states that many Templars remained behind, and helped the villagers escape. Hawke is obviously misinformed.
But again, I shouldn't expect you to ever accept anything that shows Templars in a positive light, because that wouldn't fit with your headcanon.

surely you don't realize that

So Gaider personally said so in regards to Witch Hunt? If not, where is this quote located? And how would you explain this alleged subjectivity?

Most Templars retire to Val Royaux and live out the last of their days in peace. That much is stated in established lore. Of course you don't adhere to such silly notions, so I'm not sure what you are expecting.

It is the objective description recieved when you hover the mouse over Lothering. It gives a short description of what happened during and after the Blight. Since this description isn't given by anyone in universe, then the description must be objective. Hawke on the other hand, is very much a charcter in the universe, and thus ALL he says is subjective.

A joke Emperor.

Sometimes I hope I can get the fanatics to realise how silly they are by acting like one, but alas... it fails.

So healer are the product of the devil then? Mages who uses magic to heal sick and injured peple are the product of the devil? Gray warden, templars or mages, all of them can help people in many different way. Just because mages are born differently, they should not be condamn, not when they are helping people with their "curse"

So you condemn them for hypothetically cutting them off and now you're condemning them for supplying them with the thing that stops them from collapsing into a wreck. Stop trying to grasp at straws.

Templars don't retire peacefully in Val Royeux. Have you ever seen an drug addict? They are scarred by their addiction. They need to keep feeding on it their entire lifes, otherwise they become highly unstable from the withdrawls. So either the Chantry keeps giving them Lyrium untill they become addled or they are reduced to Samson, who is constantly trying to get money to feed his habit. You just don't shrug off an addiction once you retire of your job.

You see above pic, that what happen when continuously snuffing lyrium, that guy is the result of continously snuffing lyrium, Samson is the result if not get lyrium anymore...you saying that Samson is kicked out, that is the reason he become like that, so that means retired Templars continuously get lyrium in Val Royeux...they will end up like that guy above anyway

there are two result

i. end up like Samson by not taking the drug anymore
ii. become like that guy in the pics above for continuously taking the drug

both result lead to...become trash in society

I think they're being condemned for addicting them in the first place.  Which is a fair grounds for criticism, even if there are reasons for doing it..
