I have noticed that when I scan certain planets I hear an audible sound. It sounds more like a clickity sound. What does that mean?
Example - I am in the Argos Rho Cluster and I have scanned all of the planets in the Hydra system, none of them had that sound. I have moved over to the Gorgon system and I am now getting that sound.
Interesting. I have returned back to the Hydra system, did a rescan of the planets and I am now getting that audible sound.

As long as it doesn't have a red/orange circle around it, it shouldn't have any objects of interest as far as I know.

Perhaps that sound lets you know that there will be something there after you get the actual quest for it next time you visit the citadel
