And I have no idea how anyone could do that.

Evidently they're not versed in reach-around action. Image IPB

why bash the guy
BSN's itching another flame-bait troll-thread?

but yeah, warp+shockwave's the strongest biotic explosion in-game.
and I've tried going warpless before, I didn't like losing that long range detonator.

Hmm. It looks like Mass Effect stole a few things from BSG. Raptors, vipers, raiders, guardians, centurions, and now airlocks.

BSG didn't come up with a single one of those names, they are just named after things in the real world.

Warpless adept is way underpowered and rather pointless.

...Warp was great in ME1. At least, it was if you played Insanity and had to deal with a bajillion enemies with Immunity.

Warp was incredibly useful for dealing with all the enemies with immunity.

Was it? Of course I tended to cheat on Insanity by exiting the building, saving, then running back in (then rinse and repeat until the enemy was all taken care of). Let's just say that reclaiming Wrex's armour was a bee-yatch and he never even wore it because it was too rusty (big surprise after decades/hundreds of years - or whatever [I know I should probably know the exact time-scale, but whatever]). That and killing Nassana Dantius's sister.

But I digress, sorry! Image IPB

Did anyone play ME1 Insanity with non-biotic characters who could only use light armours and pistols??? Image IPB

Sorry to the obvious lynch mob (and this is the most popular I've ever been in my life! Image IPB)

I prefer shockwave to warp on the human adept. Sue me. I don't even play anymore! Image IPB

Seriously, 6/6/6/5/3 or 6/6/6/6/0 is the way to go.

Wouldn't 6/6/6/0/6 be better?
Since the power dmg from alliance training doesn't boost BE dmg, the extra health and shields would add a bit more survivability.
Or maybe I'm just imagining that the passive doesn't boost BE dmg.
The dmg on Singularity is enough to kill mooks anyway, and the dmg on Warp and Shockwave is nothing spectacular by themselves.
That's just the way I roll it, tho.
Moar BEs!

Power passives don't affect explosion damage but its always nice to have a bit more weight capacity and weapon damage.

I only used human adept like twice in the beginning. Lately been re configuring all original characters. Keeping it interesting.  Human Adept is really an awesome character. There's absolutely no legit reason to skip warp if you're going for an optimal build. Long distance detonations.

How exactly? I've got as bad a connection to hosts as anyone, and don't have any issues. Any humanoid enemy primed by singularity will be staggered anyway, and won't be able to dodge, neither will larger armored targets.

Surely there's such a thing as reading too much into things? The body may be incarcerated, but the mind is always free.

For the record, I was just groping for an excuse for my inadequacies - I'm not saying that they translate to anyone else! Image IPB

I've always liked this guy, I miss the old Singularity though.
