Yep, playing DC.
Already saw a couple things that are different from the vanilla game, though I won't get the DC for as long as they charge money for it.

I've noticed a lot better lighting and (at least going from memory) new art assets. Alex's boss has a much swankier office. The soundtrack always reminded me of the original Mass Effect - it had this surreal sci-fi mystique to it that wasn't quite the same in the other 2. Having said that, Deus: HR's intro and ME2's intro have a decent bit in common.

I don't know why, but sometimes I couldn't aim an enemy from 3 meters distance in this game! Maybe lack of bullets made me anxious...

I'm pretty sure you can only get second screen features with the WiiU or Playstation version (with the Vita). Don't see an option on PC.

Both games have the unfortunate legacy of "I have played it 50 billion times" going against it.
Though you're correct that it may be interesting. I'll have to bounce it off some people just because I'll definitely have "inside position."

I have heard that the lighting has been tweaked/improved, though it's been so long since I last played that I am not a good judge for that.
I am pretty sure there are new weapons (from the DLC?) since I ended up finding a whole bunch of stuff pretty early in the game that I definitely do not remember!
I did in my first playthrough way back when. I haven't done so now as I'm being more stringent in my roleplaying. While I was investigating some neuropozyne disappearances, in doing so I didn't rob people of their credit chips or anything like that.

No need. I hacked them just for the early XP without taking anything and still got the mails complaining about some thief in the offices.
