Sometimes. It depends on a couple of factors. If I'm playing a grenade class then no of course. If I'm playing a weapon class I'll only do that from time to time, or often if I don't have spare ammo problems. If I'm playing a caster I'll usually do that.

Depends. If I'm using a grenade kit no...but if not I'll use them if I need something dead immediately for the good of the team.

A few times, but I mostly play casters. So I never find the need to focus on dishing out some extra weapon damage.

This is a very important tactic when doing speedruns, I always use pretty much all of my thermal packs when using a harrier on speed runs, makes a difference. In normal games, I try to be a little conservative with my thermal packs, but I still like to use thermal clips for damage quite often. If I'm using a GI, I'll cloak, use thermal clip pack, quickly empty the magazine of my weapon while quickly tossing a proximity mine for some massive damage. Or if using a TGI, I'll spam a maxed out stim pack at the same time as using a thermal clip and breaking cloak for some huge damage.

Yes, but I don't budget them, I use them in a more opportunistic fashion, when I feel the time is right.

I use them for the damage boost in platinum. In gold, they are grenade fillers.

1) saving teammates from grabs
2) three shot HS claymore
3) Two shot GI Javelin

I take assault loadout into pretty much every match now. It makes everything high DPS.

for example GE + Assault Loadout + Harrier = god mode

I usually use it when I feel like scorewh0ring so engagement time wont be interrupted with a trip to the ammo box. After that I consciously try to target the heavies...

Ive used them a couple times when a praetorian was rushing me, and I felt like holding the line.

The only other time Ill use them for the damage boost/instareload is my GI with Jav when I just feel like going crazy. More often than not I go overboard and end up shooting 7 times in a row without reloading though...

I typically use all of my thermal clips when I run my Typhoon GT, but only occasionally other than that. I like to get a good mass of armor in front of me, get that sucker spun up and burn through most of the clip, then enjoy the melting from the insta-reload and damage boost.
