I am encountering a problem when my party enters combat, probably due to my  ignorance of how it works. I have entries in tactics set up for the other characters in my party. When enemy appears I click on my rogue and point him to spot near specific enemy I want him to attack. I then click on my own character so I can control it. The rogue goes to the spot and then stands there. .

Shouldn't the tactics kick in once that party member is near the enemy given that I have clicked on my main character and I'm controlling it now. How do you tell someone basically - go over their and then start fighting  base don your tactics ?

Unlike Kotor, you cant queue up actions. Any action you select will immediately reset after each round of combat. Your final entry in the tactics should be something like self any, attack nearest enemy.
