Interesting idea.  But I like the concept of strategic use of rockets.  However, the scorewhoring w11 missiling makes me :whistle: (or whatever the closest is to rolls eyes / grimace).  So, I'd be for no pts, or a 2/3 reduction or something like that (which I origianlly thought was in there).

Ok, so I'm a "noob" or whatever you want to call me and I enjoy nuking every time I see a good oportunity. I am sorry if that makes you feel bad.
I don't need to prove anything or to play " legit " . I don't win any real money playing this game, there is no realistic purpose and it is chalenging enough as it is.

Killing enemies and not getting points just because some people see that as " overpowered" is ridiculous. Grenades are more op than missiles since you have unlimited numbers of those. Maybe we shouldn't give points to grenade kills when playing with the Demolisher.

Good idea, I like it. Then they would be used as intended. A bit of a get out of jail free card. People would still hoard them though out of habit.

I wasn't aware anyone had called you a "noob" or said you had to prove anything. This is just discussion which I'm happy that you disagree with because I value different opinions that make me consider the merits of my own opinion.

I think perhaps then they would be more valuable on the objective waves.

Not sure how assasination would work though. The budget really isn't effected by the target.

Sorry if I said something wrong. I just get the impression that some people take this game to seriously.
I understand where you are coming from. Maybe they should add more options in ME4 MP to satisfy everyone.

I feel like they should just limit the number of missiles you can get.

They should be used sparingly to get you out of a bad situation rather just whenever you happen to see a few enemies grouped up and can't be bothered to kill them normally.

Not depleting the wave budget gets rid of a few things, but it doesn't really do anything to limit the high number of "get out of jail free" cards that a team has right now, even without AC.

Limiting the number limits the RNG moreso, this is either a break even or an advantage for RNG for consumables purchase.

My simple solution probably isn't best but it knocks out a lot of problems in the game.

I think its a good idea. Useful only as a emergency button to get yourself out of trouble, but not for actually depleting the budget (I assume that means it also would NOT work on assassination targets?).

AC should also be thrown out the airlock

Many PUG's cannot deal with Double Banshees without missiles. So them re-spawning again isn't going to get the game finished.

Then again, perhaps it is the fact that they can just be nuked away that is holding some people back from learning to deal with them without a missile.

Aside from the folly of tailoring the game to the elitist desires of a few dozen players, I'd miss the threads where people dismiss score as unimportant while complaining that scrubs use missiles to inflate their scores.
