What if rockets didn't deplete the wave budget or count for points?

Wait: there are people who won't detonate someone else's powers?  I pretty much play for the explosions.  In fact, I'd detonate biotic explosions just for the noise, even if they didn't do anything else.

I've gotten chewed out for it quite a few times now. Will still continue to detonate BEs now matter whose they are though.

From what I have found for the majority of my ME3 MP career is no, players will not.  The score for detonations is awarded to the primer, so people have no incentive to detonate another's primers. The last time I experienced open gameplay where people detonated for one another was during the demo, which was the last time people truly didn't care about score.

I believe the scoreboard RUINS what this game could have been

Imho the scroeboard is  the perfect amount of "competitive gameplay" ME3MP needs. Look at it and start jerking if you want, it doesn't change anything.
Score does not give you more money or XP or anything, it just shows how much damage you caused no matter how you did it.

Speedrunning, missleglitching an spawn nuking are probems caused by the store system and the incredible longe time to max out everything, not a number behind our name that appeares for 2s after wave 11.

It does happen, not often but it does. Probably has same or close probability to running a good PUG. I for one do my best to detonate (cooldown permitting) any primed target regardless of who was the primer.

Ah! And OT - I actually quite like the idea, would definitely help to balance the game out. Do we know if this can be achieved via modding (sorry, did not read the whole thread yet?)
