I'm so frustrated.

I've had to load and retry this a million times, not because I've been wiping, because I haven't. No, I've had to restart because I keep getting the exact same damn bug at different points.

I've killed every corpse in town, idled picking my nose at every spawn point, waiting for the game to continue, but it doesn't. I sit and listen to epic battle music and a bunch of npcs screaming I SEE ANOTHER ONE! and HOLD YOUR GROUND MEN! and there is not a single corpse in this entire city. I run around aimlessly for ten minutes, hoping it'll fix, but unsurprisingly, it never does.

And I can't even load from an earlier stage in the event. Nope, I always have to load from the very beginning and fight through all seven million corpses only to have it do the exact same bug at another new place.

Is anyone else having this problem? Is anyone else about ready to scream? Could anyone tell me if I'm just stupid and doing something wrong over and over again so I can do this ONCE and then continue with the game? So I seriously just need to do this ten MORE times and pray that THIS TIME everything works the way it's supposed to?

The entire god damn Redcliffe assault felt glossed over, development wise.

Yup, they do get stuck. Had to walk around the shoreline until I came across the remaining two.

Also walk up the original path they came from. i found one stuck up there. also, are all your party members alive? you have to run up to your fallen party members bodies to get out of combat.

I had the same problem, it happens if you let that named NPC guarding the chapel die. It breaks the quest. Don't let him die

If after the first wave (In windmill), an archer don't come for you after kill every "zombie" (Sometimes yoou need to go after the way up, so restart from the autosave, as soon as the archer calls you, go downstair, and defend the chantry, for 98% of people, always are an Stuck dead ones behind one of the houses, (in the port)...

I ran through the oil fire and up the hill to kill the last two there. Then I just wandered around the bottom level until I found the last straggler. Easily the most pointless and monotonous part so far.

The zombies at the top were so easy they were almost a waste of time. The ones at the bottom were so numerous I had to lure the last 20 or so up the hill to be killed by the defenders there. I came to Redcliff as a 6th level party so maybe not enough muscle to do it right.

Or you can simply ignore the entire killing of zombies part... Tell Bann Teagan to go somewhere not so nice and leave redcliffe.

It's might not suit non-evil characters... though you can imagine yourself to be a huge coward if that helps ;)

I cant get the wave of undead to stop in the town square.

And yes I did keep Tomas alive for awhile, to no avail.

How many waves are supposed to be hitting the town square?

They are unending.

I saw in another thread that threre is an NPC named Tomas in the town square that you have to keep alive or it breaks the quest.

After slogging through this battle once at Hard difficulty, only to have my victory snatched from me by this nasty endless loop bug, I had to set the difficulty down to Easy and find one of the Autosaves where the "come down to the town, they're coming across the lake" event would still happen.

Then I found Tomas, and spent ridiculous resources (about 20 precious, hard to find blue and red potions and healing spells) keeping him alive.

Finally, at the end of the town battle with Tomas still alive, the end-of-battle event triggered, and I breathed a sigh of relief.

Why "Tomas" works around the bug, I don't know.

BIOWARE NEEDS TO FIX THIS!

Actually, Tomas died on me last night (I picked his body clean) and it did not stop the end-of-battle-event. I have had trouble in the past with skeletons and living dead that get stuck for some reason between the houses or on the beach.
