Ashley doesn't do much for me when I'm sober

Its mind boggling how BioWare intentionally tried to "give her sex appeal" and yet it has horribly back fired so catastrophically.

Gosh, that must be why we have threads like this of the OP lauding her. Because it 'horribly backfired so catastrophically. '

You can't deny that the reaction to her new appearance has been overwhelmingly negative

It's like politicians, you know? Everything they're concerned with is either THE MOST HORRIBLE THING EVER, EVAH, or super-duper awesome epic win revolutionary going-down-in-history.

It's funny to watch.

Here, sure.  But that's here.

Outside the BSN, she's just the same character with her hair down and a goofier outfit kinda like those in ME2.

Just call me confused. I'm not a fan of Ashley's new hair, but she'd not showing cleavage, her armor isn't riding up her butt as it was in ME1, her chest is about the same size as Liara's when they both wear heavy armor.

Did Bioware's change to Ashley to "give her sex appeal" really affect her that much?

She has larger breasts, a new "sexy" (I guess) haircut, she's got visible make up on,

She had visible blush and mascara makeup on in in ME1. In ME3 she got lip gloss and eye shadow, but the mascara and blush looks reduced.

But throw in breast enhancement and a new haircut....

I guess the reason I don't rate as highly as other characters is because she acts with considerably less humanity. It's funny really, that other alien characters are more in touch with their humanity than an actual human.
