Hey have you guys noticed how much more cinematic games have become in the past 3- 5 years?

Also, have you noticed a trend of many "blockbuster" movies becoming "videogamey"?

Game Examples: Quantic Dream, Two souls, Alan Wake, Last of us

Films: Pacific Rim, I am number 4, Sucker Punch, Speed Racer, Harry Potter

I don't know that I would say movies are becoming more video gamey, although some video games becoming more cinematic is mainly because technology has advanced enough that we can do it now and it can sell a game, even if said game has fairly weak actual game mechanics.
