considering that this thread should have been made back in March 2012 (when the game came out) there was many many threads like this. I posted my own threads of how much Liara had (IMO) the most content when came to the rest of the characters (ie. Zaeed, Samara, Thane Grunt etc...)
But yes the lack of character(s) content was one of my biggest concerns. Then again ME3 as a whole had much problems.Anyway, I'm glad Wrex was back part on my squad from the Citadel DLC. Sadly I had to pay for it (when it was BW fault for not putting the extra effort for it to be in-game)
Anyway we'll see what ME4 brings. My assumption is, it'll be something completely new. I doubt it be a prequel (though I love to see a Trilogy on Rachni Wars/Krogan Rebellions) Can't have enough K.R.O.G.A.N.S.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

David, Okeer mentions "clutches of eggs". Patriarch mentions it. Wrex may have mentioned it in ME1. I don't know. I'm not going to pour through hundreds of hours of Youtube videos or buy Fraps and play the fraking game again to capture the scene to show you. It's there. I know it is there. You'll have to take my word for it.

If the next game ends up being the first part of a duology or a trilogy, I would hope the devs would keep the main cast smaller. There was simply too many squadmates and LIs to account for in Mass Effect 3, guaranteeing that some were not going to get much content. Less is sometimes more.
Some fans would complain about the smaller cast of course, but they'll complain even louder if their favorite LI ends up with a cameo in the sequel. And fans rarely see the big picture anyway. If they gripe about a smaller cast they are best ignored.

What was in Citadel was Thane's original ending, where Shepard and Thane were together as he died and he then remembered their night before the suicide mission. It got cut and the romanced Shepard got almost the same dialogue as the non-romanced. BW later admitted that they dropped the ball on Thane's exit in ME3. As far as content, a very early draft of the script had Thane and Kasumi teaming up w/ Shepard to save Kahje.
