We had a gay man(Cortez), lesbian(Traynor), and ambiguously bi-sexual man(Kaidan) in ME3.   Maybe a trans character is next?

I honestly don't care. I just want enjoyable characters.

Yes, but you shouldn't find out until the romance scene at the end of the game.

I'd love to see what the forum would look like after something like that.

And a soundtrack by Lady GAGA.

Do it Bioware. you can't really do any worse than, STEVE!!!!!!!!

That was the weirdest most out of place line in the entire series, lol. STEVE!!!! then shep's like in a mono tone voice- "you sure". So dumb.

Shepard yelling "Cortez!" sounds way better, but I disagree with you on your second sentence. Nothing, and I mean nothing, beats the squad reactions. That scream that they do is absolutely hysterical and way too hard to take seriously, even if there's no drastic tonal shift.

James' is the only one that kind of works, but everyone else is bonkers. Ashley's is definitely my favorite. It's like someone replaced her medigel with a harsh laxative.

lulz. Holly sh!t the writing for the ending is so BAD!!!!! Kaiden's is so bad, it's funny. James sound like is at a footbal game, "yeah bro, come on brah!!!! Bring it". Wow.
Wow. Just wow. BioWare, you have lowered the bar.

 :lol::lol::lol:

Yeah James sounds more pumped than angry, but still not the worst to me. I'm just grateful that in a playthrough in which Cortez dies, I can avoid this by simply choosing a squad among EDI, Garrus and Liara.

Those are awful. I always take Javik and Liara. Or as I call them. Team Troll. Plus I play Vanguard a lot, so you know.... EXPLOSIONS!!!

I usually bring both Kaidan and James on the first push for thematic effect, as they're the two earthlings that wanted to come back so badly, and then switch to Javik and Liara or Liara and Garrus for no man's land. But yeah, that screaming definitely changes how I play.

So you mean make Synthesis the canon ending.

I have an unfortunate feeling that the ME fanbase isn't, overall, mature enough to handle it well.

In what ways are these characters forced?

It's such a liberally defined term I don't even know what it means.

Why does it matter?

If they have something important to add to the story I see no reason why not.

HOWEVER I just know that such a character would be added for
-pandering to the SJWs
-controversy

So I see no reason to add one in

Wasn't Chris Tucker's Ruby Rhod a transgender character in the 5th Element?

So sure. Why not in the next Mass Effect game.
