I'm just wondering if there is a French or German version of Dragon Age :Origin, if so did Bioware hire different voice actors for those or did they simply use different subtitles? i'm asking simply out of curiocity, no pratical reason at all.

I definitely know of a German vo version (because I own it), but I never played with German voice-overs - I prefer playing the GAME.co.uk version.

nope, german version is german voice over (and subtitles), but it's a multilingual version. If you prefer (and I do), you can use english voice over as well.

Most of them are professional voice actors, and the quality is quite good, even though some (especially Shale) are very different to the original.
The biggest difference is, you can't really copy the original voice. Leliana has a french accent in english, and while her voice actress in german is good, she speaks plain german, no hint Orlais could be a medieval, fantasy version of france.
