I am thinking about adding Mass Effect 3 to my collection, but I am swayed by the word going around that the ending make the whole game redundant, not worth your time.
I have played Dragon age 2, and that ending absolutly stinks, yet I still enjoyed the game. Is mass effect 3 under the same heading,or worse, what do you guys think?
Come to think about it, why are BW, putting out so many bad endings? Origins ending was fantastic.

I love ME 3. I've put hundreds of hours into it, so obviously I'm not a person who let the ending screw it up for me. It's got great gameplay, if a little too easy, a decent story and some truly excellent moments that mean a lot more if you've played the first 2 games.
Yes, the ending is weak. The whole last stage is weak, actually, and probably not worthy to be the final stage of such an excellent trilogy. But that doesn't take enough away from the game to stop me from playing it over and over.
For what it's worth, I felt almost exactly the same way about DA 2: a great game with a weak finale, that I've returned to several times because the game itself is a lot of fun. You might feel the same.
ME 3 is cheap now so you're not out much even in the worst case. Personally, I'd recommend it to anyone interested in this type of game, especially if you've played ME 1 & 2.
I highly recommend downloading the Extended Cut DLC. It's free and it makes the ending much better, IMO.
As for the quality of BW endings, I personally believe its due to EA forcing them to rush the products.

Thank you brad2240, that was just the sort of information I was looking for.
Looks like I WILL be adding Mass effect 3 to my list after all. It's all about weather or not the quality of the actual game outweighs the bad ending.

I myself bought Me3 CE after playing trough the game 3 times. the ending is just a matter of opinion. but there is lots and lots of nice stuff in there for the characters.. and you must pick up citadel dlc
