Don't you think the confrontation with him is anti-climatic? For a guy who was the player character's best friend and running buddy, it sure seems that way.
"Well, now I'm workin' for them, so I'm gonna kill ya." - Leske
"lol ok" - warden
*battle ensues, Leske dies without even an Arl Howe-esque send-off*
"Now time to get outta this dump." - warden
And not another word is said about it. I figured at least one of them would be a little hesitant or remorseful about killing his friend, but nope.

Yeah, that was one of the more underwhelming things about the DC.
At least killing Tamlen in the Dalish Origin got a little bit said about it after. And let you make your character really not want to do it.

I actually was surprised when I ended up enjoying the DC story, as I REALLY dislike the dwarven society in Origins, but the whole Leske thing was one of the less impressive moments during it. I tried to explore all dialogue options at that point, but it still left me cold and thinking 'wtf'? afterward. I guess it was supposed to bring out the desperation of the casteless, but all it really did was remind me that the dwarves all have this cutthroat mentality from the lowest to the highest.
At least Rica didn't go bad on her. The one saving grace of the entire origin was that I was able to RP my duster was close to her sister, and that held true. Though, knowing what a douchenozzle Bhelen is, I had to wonder if she was REALLY that blind to his faults, or was she playing Natia just like everyone else in Orzammar. Eh, I didn't care, at least she wasn't trying to get her killed.
And thinking I may play that origin again after this current game I'm doing.

That part always disappointed me. While you can get some answers from Fade Leske later it still feels hallow.
I dunno, I wish that he had been mortally wounded and we could have at least had a final true goodbye and forgiveness.

I find the fight with Leske and the Jarvia to be a great fight especially with Leske making it harder so I perceive it differently.

I could have used a little more oomph, I agree...a companion talking to you afterwards or something.
