How do we get new ANI files into the toolset?

This toolset is amazing. The only thing that's missing is a way to get new animations into the toolset.

Any ideas?

These two files were present in the dragon age folder. I wonder what type of file they want as an input?

1. GraphicsProcessorANI.exe
- Xml?


2. AnimProcessor.exe - FBX? Xml?

This is too important. We need to figure this out.

In Blender we have access to the complete body with bones and everything.

Not my field of expertise, but I'm guessing that GraphicsProcessorANI is analogous to GraphicsProcessorMMH. In which case you would feed it an ANI XML file, whose format is described here: http://social.biowar...t/index.php/ANI



The tools for converting 3DSMax animations or other formats into ANI couldn't be released for legal reasons, unfortunately. I'm not aware of any projects currently focused on animation importers but if there are any out there feel free to ask me for more detailed support. I can at least try to find someone more knowledgeable to pass the questions on to.
