I am on the look out for a quiver item and while I can make ok icons and futz with existing models, I would like something that looks great.

I would like an icon as miscellaneous thin and/or miscellaneous medium. Bigbox/container would be cool too (but that is the same size as misc medium). A drop model would also be great.

For bonus points it would be cool if there were some recolorable versions (icon is PLT), and we could make a new base item that has cloth, leather, metal color channels......

Any takers?

With or without arrows? One strap or two? Back or waist (belt loop) mounted? Furry or plain leather? All questions generated by searching on deviatArt for quiver. I take it you want an icon that is 1 slot wide and 2 tall?

I wanted to give this a bump, and to clarify that the impetus for this is Amethyst Dragon's excellent Quiver VFX's. It stimulated my thinking, and I want to make quiver items.

The purpose of the quiver item is to provide more control for the PC to remove an empty quiver VFX, to associate quiver color with certain quivers, and to allow magical quivers which can provide benefits - perhaps one that will replenish itself with whatever you put in it, and one that enchants arrows... and so on.

I made 6 icons from my initial foray to DA. The thing is I am not happy with them and I do have other things to be getting on with. If you like I can bundle what I did get and put on DB for you to grab and look at if you want.

Don't sweat it. If you are not happy with them, you shouldn't release them.

Two jobs is keeping most of my free time not so free atm, how you been Rolo? I did find some quiver Icons and if I can get CS2 to play nicely with alpha channel then I will get them posted up. As far as the link, I thought it would go one better since I stumbled upon that and see if any of the fine 3d peeps we have roaming the circles of Neverwinter would be able to "port" it over to NWN.
