Fallout: New Vegas
Dark Souls
Dragon's Dogma
Mass Effects

Borderlands 2 would be on there but the customer support I received from them was pretty poor.

Considering most of my favorite games are PC games, I dont really like the whole generation thing including PCs. If we take it as all the games released since 2007 though, Crusader Kings II.

Can't make up my mind either.
  • Mass Effect trilogy
  • Fallout 3 & NV
  • Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
  • Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Latest entry would be Dark Souls.
I only started playing this game a week ago and am completely addicted. Given that I haven't finished it yet, plus considering the emotional rollercoaster this game has ben so far, I'm still a bit wary listing it with the above.

But without reserve and all the critcism I had (and have), Mass Effect is the Star Wars of my generation. As in, I love the lore just as much, and see lots of potential. Keep at it. (And never make a direct prequel starring Hayden Christensen. Feel free to cast Liam Neeson and Ewan McGregor twice, though.)

Games I spent an unhealthy amount of time playing:

Oblivion - amazing experience as I hadn't gamed since the SNES days. I even bought the horsey armor and felt good about it. I sometimes long for those days when I wasn't a jaded gamer and didn't 'know any better.'

Dark Souls - making my way up Sens Fortress the first time, getting invaded, and finally reaching that bonfire was terrifying/riveting/glorious. Duels on the bridges with the swinging blades led to Empire Strikes Back: Luke vs Vader levels of godtier gaming goodness.

Batman AC

Dragon Age Origins
ME2
ME3
multiplayer
Honorable mentions to Driver: San Francisco and Castlevania LOS.

I don't know. I guess I'll go with Fallout 3, since if it wasn't for that game I wouldn't even be here.

What the heck does that mean?

Well.. In my day.....  Actually at that time I wasn't much of a gamer at all, I would play Hitman: Blood Money on occasion but that was about it. My brother who was notorious for buying games based of televison trailers and had bought Fallout 3 because.. I don't even know. I remember laughing when he first played it, he was so pissed.

So Fallout collected dust on the shelf for many months until at one point I guess do to boredom I decided to try the game out, at that point having never played an RPG previously. At first I was just playing out of boredom but eventually I got hooked. And it was this discovery of Fallout 3 that led me to other games not necesarily RPG's but highly regarded like Bioshock, and yes Mass Effect. And that's why I say I wouldn't even be here without Fallout.

Ah, I see. I can't imagine not being interested in games. I may take a break from them from time to time or feel bored but I've always been a huge gamer. Ever since I laid my eyes on this beauty:

So, in no particular order:

Red Dead Redemption
TES: Skyrim
Fallout: New Vegas
The Last of Us
Saints Row II
DA:O
Dragon's Dogma
Divinity II
The Walking Dead
Wolf Among Us

And a lot more I can't think of right now.

That is a very difficult question. How far back am I supposed to go here? There are simply too many good games I've played. I'll have to think about it.

Pfffh, I don't think I can name THE game I liked the most - there were just to many I liked/loved. But if I tried to to narrow it down to the 5 games that entertained and touched me the most it might look something like this:

Portal - One of the all-around best gaming experiences I've ever had. A flawless game!

The Walking Dead - "Keep that hair short..." :crying:

XCOM: Enemy Unknown - I was completely addicted to it, and expect this to continue with the upcoming expansion.

Journey - A beautiful, beautiful little game! Great visuals and music, amazing overall atmosphere. <3

Mass Effect - Still my favourite part of the trilogy, and probably my favourite Bioware game to date.

Honourable mentions:

Dragon Age: Origins, Spec Ops: The Line, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, FTL, Heavy Rain

I have to add, though, that I still haven't played a few games that I believe have good chances to make the list:

Batman: Arkham City
Dark Souls
The Witcher 2
The Last of Us

Forgot about those.  Two of my favorite PC games of recent times as well.  They truly cannot be played on console.
