I used to use the flamer on my vorcha sentinel when i used to play silver and had bad weapons, i havent even touched that loadout since i went to gold and got high end weapons (although I still use the acolyte),

I always use some sort of consumeables. Why wouldn't I? I'm never going to run out. I don't really care what pugs do below platinum.

Alright i understand where you were misled.

The thread is about "what type of player are you and why". I simply gave an experience i had a while back when i was dealing with pugs.

Nowhere in the OP did i speak of anything about top-scoring anybody or being better than anyone else.

Someone in the thread somewhere posted that no one could top score without consumables. I simply stated that i do regularly and i gave an example in response to that post in question.

I literally had no desire to continue talking about that, but it kept being brought up as the thread went along.

This is not an "e-peen" thread as you state, i genuinely just want opinions of what everyone thought about the matter.

You seem like a nice and calm individual, i hope we cleared that up.

I'm somewhere between 1 and 3, but definitely not 2. (that makes perfect sense, math wise...) If the teammates don't use consumables, I at least expect them to use a decent loadout. No avengers, predators, etc. I usually require some combination of at least two or three of consumables/good loadout/decent N7/decent challenge points on at least two of the players before I am willing to ready on gold.

I, however always use consumables on gold, and when I feel like dropping down to silver, I usually put on rank 1 or 2 consumables just because.
