I've only met a handful of posters I would call friends. And the "cancer freak" debacle turned me off of ever willingly playing with most of the BSNers here anymore.

Just how long do you plan on playing the feel sorry for me I had cancer anyway????  Your stupid threads and idiotic replies on here are why that guy started hating on you not cancer.

No cards, but he's one of the "BSN elite" and given the general attitude of the other frequent posters I wouldn't want to spend any time playing with them.

If you don't want to play with bsners and don't like them why waste time on the forums.  You bring the hate on  yourself then expect us to feel sorry for you.  Its rather pathetic.

I think people are a little too fast to lump together a whole group of people based on a few of the more vocal one's opinions.

Feel sorry for me? lol

And BSN is a form of entertainment, it transcended being a gaming discussion forum when Bioware began balance changes. The dynamic that spun out of that continues on and still makes me chuckle to do this day.

Good entertainment.

What else am I supposed to do while I design the massive drain on my bank account that I call my new computer?

How much is it gonna cost?

I'm sitting at about $2100 right now before taxes.

Which really isn't as much as I could be spending =P

This is excluding stuff like monitor, mouse, keyboard, etc.?

Yeah, also no harddrive since I already have 2 of them. 3 if you count external drives.

What did people do to pass the time before the Internet existed?

I spend time on BSN because I've met a lot of great people here.

But also because I'm a fucking idiot.

Pretty much.

And it is entertaining in it's own weird way to add.

The ancient stories tell of a dark time before the internet, and indeed even before the home PC and gaming consoles.

They had to go into the dreaded world known only as "outside".

Well, that's quite something then. Mine cost ~$1250 3 years ago and it was pretty damn good back then.

The one I have right now was about $2300 with a keyboard + mouse around 4 years ago.

It feels like a good range to be in for me. I wont have to upgrade for a while and can still run games on maximum for years. I also use it for work, so I believe can write it off with the government and get some of the cost back that way.

Plus I have lots of room to upgrade the memory if I want to.

Are you agreeing with her about her statement or claim that it is true for you also?

Anyhoo I would hereby put my protest for any eventuality on record!

For those old enough to remember there were also things for gamers called "pinball machines"
