Hi All,

I called Gamestop about an order today and they told me that my order was already packed for shipment. Does that mean they'll be shipping my game shortly? I'm a little confused. Thanks!

I would think that's what it means. What game are you purchasing?

MAG, which isn't supposed to ship until next week but.... I was told today my copy was packaged for shipment. They also said, since I paid for overnight shipping I should get it tomorrow or Thursday. BEFORE the street date.

The guy you spoke to was probably just an idiot. I plan to purchase MAG as well, but like you said, it's not out until next Tuesday. Now there have been mistakes in the past when companies like Gamestop accidentally released games before the actual release date, but that's pretty rare.



If you do happen to get a copy of the game before the 26th then it'll probably be worthless. It's strictly online play and Sony likely won't have the servers up until then. I just checked my MAG beta and the server is down.

Gamestop is better than Best Buy, those people have managed to successfuly screw up every pre-order I've made with them.
