Jade Empire isn't too bad with a game pad.

It's more of a preference thing than anything else, really.

Combat in Remember Me was surprisingly easy with a 360 controller. And AC3 with a controller is basically god mode.

Skyrim
Alice: Madness Returns

Basically most games that exist on both PC and consoles can be played well with a controller on PC because the UI doesn't change much.

Dead Island and the "sequel". If you're not playing analog combat then there's really no reason to play either of those games.

Fighting games are terrible with a Microsoft one. Playstation type controller for the win in this. (tho arguably, there's less support for it in PC games)

Any game with controller support I tend to prefer using the controller. Super Meat Boy, Cave Story+, Sonic All-star Racing Transformed, Sine Mora and Jamestown probably, are a few that work well. For that matter, most games released on PC nowadays have controller support (Xinput specifically), whether they be the ones ported to PC from consoles (practically all AAA titles), or most of the indie games unless they're the top down strategic types.

Haven't tried Microsoft controller yet, only logitech, sony and razer etc so i can't speak for them but i dislike playing fighting games with keyboard though i prefer fighting stick above everything in fighting games but since it was about gamepads i thought it was better to leave it out.

Basically any Ubisoft game like the Assassin's Creed series (though AC2 and AC2: B are wonky) or Splinter Cell Blacklist, or Far Cry.
