any else been noticing many lowbies hosting platinum runs and expecting others to carry them ??? pretty damn annoying especially when they start the match solo, knowing we cannot check their gear once we're in.

OT: lightly veiled e-peen thread? Anyway, host or leave games in progress and your problems will go away.

I made the mistake of putting on Gears once with two scrubs who wanted to do Platinum. Yeah, it's getting annoying. I never bring anything if I PUG, not until I get into the lobby and check.

oh yes...I've done this several and boy do they rage hard  which brings me to the other topic word which apparently has prosthetclimbs curiosity...I added hosters as an inside joke and now needs explanation. the last host we kicked due to his low rated weapon and lack of equipped gear, we voted him off and before the last vote was entered he began yelling, "Y U KICK HOSTER !!! I AM HOSTER !!!  U NO LIKE, U LEAVE !!!" he got kicked and we had several joyous quick runs earning tons of creds. the end

I see this a lot. I think it's very weird, one of the strangest occurrences in this multiplayer. What do they expect is going to happen? It's not bronze, it's platinum for God's sake.
