The adaptation is just... funny, imo.

It's all weird anyhow, since we're going to see another live action interpretation of the character in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'. Only that QS will come with his equally -if not more- famous sister. The DofP version on the other hand would actually be allowed to be Magneto's son, although I'm not sure he will be. So ****ed up.

To be fair, Quicksilver is the worst of the bunch. Some of the others are rather nice. I especially like Blink.

I do believe, though, that Singer once said something about "no more all black leather costumes".

I am not a fan of what Singer has done with X-men. Took 70 years of lore flushed it down the crapper. I just want him to finish messing it all up, so someone who's got a clue can reboot the series. Although that means he'll have to do "The Age of Apocalypse" saga, which will most likely be pure torture for me. It is, hands down, my favorite saga/story from comics/games/art/alternative literature. Sometimes it's just best to rip the band-aid off quickly, I guess :/.

if there is any rhyme or reason to do days of future past at this point, is (i believe) that they're foaming at the mouth to cash in on age of apocalypse.

Your first mistake is expecting movie adaptations to completely follow the lore

Definitely an improvement over the previous trailer.

I do kinda wish Fassbender-Magneto could go without the costume though, somehow Sir Ian pulled it off without it looking dumb.

Also kinda wish Logan could stay out of the X-men movies for a while so they can focus on making the solo films progressively better.

Bryan Singer directing it can go both ways -- Simon Kinberg writing it though can only mean disaster after the pile of rubbish he has brought to this world. Guess I'll see if it ends up being Superman Returns quality or at least on par with the earlier X-men films.
