Old Man Logan would make an awesome movie.
In the movie universe, it could tie into Days of Future Past. I don't know.
Probably wouldn't work without being backed up by Marvel Studios or Sony though.
You know, because Hawkeye and others.
This three-way split between Marvel characters is so frustrating.

Having Spiderman off in his own world sucks, but I actually think the continuity split between the X-men and Avengers/other superhero storylines works a lot better. Overlapping the two just leads to a lot of hypocrisy and weird racism.

Anyone think there could be a crazy twist ending? Maybe along the lines of Keyser Sose?? 0_0

Well it is a time travel movie, a lot of X-Men fans are hoping that Brian Singer will use that to undo some of the damage that Brett Ratner did in X-Men 3, Singer in particular has hinted that he wished Ratner had not killed off Cyclops. Who knows how Days of Future past could end.

Then maybe Singer shouldn't have abandoned X3 to make his mediocre love letter to Richard Donner...

So I'm betting you're not a fan of everything that happened between Scott and Emma Frost?

No I mean they just both have to be in it, they don't necessarily have to be together. Also the lack of Gambit kinda annoys me.
I used to like Gambit back when he first joined the X-Men but I eventually became sick and tired of how Marvel were using him after he hooked up with Rogue, the last time I picked up an X-Men comic it felt like he was shoe horned into the roster just to appease his fan base. Heck, I thought X-Men Origins: Wolverine was semi decent until Gambit showed up ( for no other reason other than to pander to Gambit fans ) and then the whole entire movie fell apart. I'm not saying that Gambit is bad character because he is not but he should not show up unless he has a suitable place in the story. I would like to see less and less of random mutant cameos in these X-Men movies so that Marvel and Fox can shamelessly say 'X' mutant is in our movies, they should save characters until they need them.
except the Rock is a legit actor, will he ever win an Oscar, no, but he is a legit actor, and he is the biggest action star at the minute. If you don't believe me about his acting ability, get pain and gain, he is awesome in it, its a terrible movie but hes awesome in it.
As a former pro wrestling fan I have always had a soft spot for the Rock. There is no denying the guy is seriously talented and oozes charisma. The movie you mentioned, Pain and Gain is great example of what he can do when he isn't phoning it in with the generic tough guy roles that he seems to do a lot for very obvious reasons. At the very least the Rock as Apocalypse is better casting choice than Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer in Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy.

What are you talking about? I am talking about someone who could play the GREATEST villian the X-men have ever faced. Sorry but Dwayne can not pull that off. It's much more difficult to play an antagonist. Not to mention; when the film is a mythological, mellow-dramatic type like a superhero movie, the villian is VERY important. All the great heroic characters from the past 30 years (in films) have been great because of the outstanding performance by the villian.
and what calibur of actor are you expecting? Daniel Day-Lewis? The Rock is as good as anybody currently in any Superhero film bar Robert Downey Jr and Christian Bale both of who are both Oscar nominated actors.

I was never a wrestling fan, but I do recognise talent when I see it, and in the last few years the Rock has really stepped up his acting ability, its not a coincidence that the two biggest films in the Fast and Furious franchise both had the Rock in them.
But it doesn't matter he is going to be someone in the DC universe, so its unlikely he would be allowed.

Dwayne was a fine action actor until I found this:

That was his very first movie and the clip that you have there is just his likeness ( it is all CGI ), it's not actually him, can't you see how bad the CGI is. The only acting he did in that movie was in the very first 10 to 15 minutes and in all fairness the acting wasn't all that great either although it is much better than that thing in that clip you showed, like all other wrestlers he initially struggled with over acting although by the time the Scorpion King had come out he had become a lot more comfortable in front of the camera. Giga Drill BREAKER is right, that was a very long time ago and he has improved a lot since then
