Ug this song. Remind me of a girl that was bullied in my class/seventh grade. She was smaller than me (Which was a feat because I was only 5Ft2 tall at 13) and always wearing old/raggy and ugly clothes.. Like pink rag carebears joggings and wearing those huge ugly nerdy purple glasses. So it's was just a recipe to be bullied. I never bullied her, but like so many others I was just watching her getting bullied in class and never interfered. It was always the same group of girl. These girl all looked the same and all of them had pony tail.
The funny part is .. She was kind of a beauty and I think her bullies knew that deep inside and were jealous of that. But it clear her parent were poverty striken and they were overprotective. She was not shy though. Which was kind of strange. I secretly had a crush on her and was curious, but never asked her out because I did not want to be bullied. So yes . I had no ball of steel 
. Her name was Roxanne. Never saw her again after seventh grade was over. So each time I hear this song. I think of this girl in seventh grade with huge nerdy purple glasses. Hell I don't even remember her appearance. Just her name and she dressed in ugly raggy pink joggings lol.
