It depends. If I was only just reading or talking about it... yep. If pain was a constant in my sexual activity, and if I happen to enjoy it as well... yep. If I was fond of sadomasochism as a whole, extreme or light, I would too.
Honestly don't see what's to be surprised over it.

If sadomasochism is your thing, then that's fine. It's your prerogative and none of my business. However, if you want to openly discuss it in a public forum, you shouldn't get offended if people find it odd.
A little pain can be enjoyable during sex, in the right scenario. Still...
You see the word 'Pain' and the first thing that comes to your mind is Sex? I find that odd.
I would think the majority of people see the word pain and immediately think of Injury or Loss... but then again maybe I'm the weird one. *shrugs*
