Nice solo. Wave 9 has been painful, as intended against geths. I didn't know that glitch with the use of an ops pack to "resuscitate" after a phantom's sync-kill. Does it work with other sync-kill units ?

Nicely done Caine. I was actually curious how would you deal with on-host Phantoms, since my scrubiness usually requires some Acolyte/Falcon action.  <Edit>  Or Submission Net .

@loufi it also definitely works with Banshees.

Cool to know, thanks. But the timing is tricky against banshees, since they don't warn you with a sword attack.

I've only seen it with banshees, brutes and phantoms. I think it works for all other syn-kill units but not sure.

Rank 6 shield overload helped with the phantoms barrier then 1 or 2 shots and that's it. I've seen your volus solo pic. Yer far from scrubby.

On a more serious note: Good job with the Turian Sentinel and the Arc Pistol. Wave 9 was a bit hairy, but you made it out alive with head knowledge (didn't know that about the OP's Pack - yet another thing I learned by watching your vids :)) and a little luck (what is needed when the Geth start their cheap BS in game). Also I think if wave 10 would have been targets... :sick: Now, that you've soloed Thunderdome and Stunnerdome: Which one would you say is actually harder to do? I'm just curious, for me they are both too hard atm, but maybe in the future I'm gonna try it.

I bumped this thread along with a few other Platinum solo's as part of promoting Platinum Solo's and the HOF. Not going to make that mistake again Mr. No more Platinum Solo's guy. I'll bump everyone else's.;)

Haven't watched it yet because work, but plan to tonight. Great work; no wonder you were mowing things down with the TSent/Arc Pistol the other night when we played...you've been practicing.

Am curious to know which you think is harder, this or Thunderdome...

I don't need your "promotions" as you like to call it and I doubt I'll be missing out on anything good by you not "promoting" my solos.

The staggerdome is harder but not by much. Stagger is the geth's ultimate weapon. I've also noticed that the geth's lolspawn mechanics are messed up especially with pyros and lolhunters.
