Mass Effect multiplayer is dead. FasterThanFTL is currently the only active player on PC.

If you do, make sure that you download and install all of the (free) multi-player DLC.

Why would anyone play this?

I'd play if there was actually a point in playing. You get basically nothing from playing multiplayer except 'galactic readiness.' If there was actually a point of multiplayer then yes I would play, seeing that there currently isn't(starting my insanity run over winter break) I won't be active. Once I start insanity, I'll play

No, there is quite a few players left as I can tell, because I am always able to get into a match within a few minutes. Add me on Origin ( DoomMarine23 ) If you want, we could play together sometime.

Um in-game progress? Randomized 'packs' that are bought rather than earned is kind of silly as well;to me anyways

Challenges, Lakook7 Level

Also some of those games don't have progression whatsoever (Starcraft) or have even more randomised (Hearthstone), so there is no point in playing them too?

There are less and less players every day, but it honestly doesn't take long to find a game at all, and that's even with my crappy connection which has issues connecting to about half the playerbase (I'm on PC too).

So yeah, you can still enjoy the game on PC pretty well.

Are you trying to start an argument of why I don't play me3 multiplayer anymore? Those are just my reasons of why I don't, trying to compare this to other games is really ridiculous.

During European or American primetime you might be able to find a Gold godforsaken lobby now and then.
If you play outside those hours, there is no hope.

Platinum is no hope regardless. If you even find a lobby, you'd hope you didn't.

I play a few games everyday, pretty much anytime of the day. Anyone is welcome to add me, especially those who know how to use Origin's Friend List.

..it's no longer sudden onsets of deja vu that come with these "do people still play ME3MP" threads, it's more like a chess gambits nowadays... almost word for word, move for move...

I never have a problem finding a game on PC, no matter what time of day. So it can't be too bad.
