I'd play if there was actually a point in playing. You get basically nothing from playing multiplayer except 'galactic readiness.' If there was actually a point of multiplayer then yes I would play, seeing that there currently isn't(starting my insanity run over winter break) I won't be active. Once I start insanity, I'll play

Lol (grabs popcorn) lol (munches popcorn)

on break since june, and i've been asking the same question. sometimes i want to play this game again, but my desire is not strong enough to install it.

but i'm sure there are players out there playing it still, some people just can't let go of a fine thing - even if that thing is dead (by 'dead' i mean the end of balance changes and lack of new content)

I will be playing this till BioWare releases the next Mass Effect so I can guarantee at least 1 player will be playing ME3 MP on PC.

Make that 2

@OP, to answer your question, yes, there are still many people playing multiplayer. I always play with PuGs and find a lobby/game in a minute.

It's funny how many people still post on BSN despite the fact they stopped playing... Mind you, I'll probably be the same...

You guys are kidding me.  Last night was one of those nights here in Australia, when I tried for 20 minutes and couldn't find anyting above Silver. It is not the first time, it is the norm - unless I am searching for games during the early morning till early afternoon when the people from the Atlantic are around.

I generally clock in 3 - 4 games at some point between 8pm and midnight UK time - rarely takes me more than about 30 seconds to find a gold game (if the quick match hasn't found a lobby within 10 seconds I abort and try again... clicking buttons is fractionally more interesting than just watching the "searching for games" screen).

Are you sure you have all the patches/dlc downloaded? I'm on east coast USA but sometimes play in the mornings which I think is night for you and find matches pretty quickly at all levels

The number of active players is certainly going down but I can still find a U/U/G in under 30s usually, which is pretty quick. I am on PC btw.

I'm still having no problems finding Silver & Gold matches on PC, so, yes, there are people still playing it.

Well that BF4 experiment was quick... I played its MP for a day, hated it, so I'm back. Good thing Origin has a 24-hour money back guarantee... that's $70+ I get to save up for ME4.

Yeah, I don't have a problem finding lobbies.

@ jking - Apologies for all of the sarcastic responses. Its just that most of us are tired of this kind of post/thread as it assumes no one is playing because the person who posted it is not playing. Its a simple matter of just jumping into a lobby and seeing for yourself as opposed to starting a thread which would take close to the amount of time it would take you to find a lobby.

To answer simply....yes people are still playing this game...but then you probably realized that after posting this thread as it makes sense that people still are playing since the servers have not been shut off.

Also by posting this and then not even responding after just seems like its a troll thread.

Haha...I had the same question as OP when I was first getting back into MP in June, it just naturally arises when you start thinking about playing this game again, you worry there is no one left.  Fortunately that worry is mostly unfounded.

Edit: I realized after a couple days I was having a hard time finding games because I didn't have all the content installed, once installed it was like magic.
