So, I'm not here to gripe if the game's release *does* get pushed back. If it's pushed back, it's pushed back. Thus is life. However, IF THAT WERE THE CASE, can we reap the benefits of it being pushed back + the profits of EA's 2014 big hit releases? Can they add more to Dragon Age Inquisition if the fans are made to wait until 2015?

If the game is, say, delayed beyond Fall 2014 - what would you like Bioware to add to Inquisition's development that is definitely *not* being implemented during current production? Post your hopes/dreams below!

Personally, I'd like to see playable background stories. Everyone loved it in DA:O. Why ditch a perfect thing?

Asking my exact same question?

Edit: they made a thread about the article - they did not follow up with add-on speculation. That's really what I made this thread for.

Customisable body shapes like in ESO. I believe Bioware said it's not gonna be in DA:I sometime ago, but if the release date is pushed back later, hopefully they can add it in.

Pro-Templar playthrough if it isn't already there.

That's not likely. And I hope they don't do that. They'd have to cut corners.

Seriously - agreed. After viewing the PAX panel play through, I noticed that everyone had the same generic body shape/frame. I was impressed by everything, but disappointed by that.

Thirded.

And seconded the playable origins.

Although in this case, such origins might have been years beforehand, so...playable flashbacks?

If they postpone the release date again I'm fairly sure it'll be about needing more time to complete the current feature list, or to improve their implementation of those features, rather than to add new stuff.

Which would be what I think they should do.

To be honest, I'd assume if it's pushed back that it's because they need more time to do all the things they were already planning to do. To add yet more would, presumably, push it back even further?

However, if this wasn't the case, I'd like a few more consequences for branching choices.

If the release date does slip, and that's IF, it will undoubtedly because we feel we need more time to make the game we currently have on our hands. At that point we will be cutting content that's not finished yet, not adding new content in. You will get less features, possibly some that were already mentioned would be removed, not new features thrown in as candy to "reward" you for the extra wait.

This makes me grin like an idiot. On behalf of the fanbase, if this is the case: thank you.

For a guaranteed 10/10 game:

Height/Body sliders

Believable facial hair that isn't extreme.

Dat Hat + accompanying Cowboy armor fully implemented into the game.

All companions romance-able and playersexual

Grass/foliage that doesn't pass through the PC as they are walking/running

The ability to be extreme pro-mage and pro-templar with different story branches accordingly.

The ability to Headbutt or slap any fool that calls the Kossith Inquisitor a "Qunari"

Lots of killable Qunari

A twerking animation for the Inquisitor and companions that I can spam whenever I damn well please.

Wich means that if the released date gets pushed to 2015, we are actually twice as screwed. Not only we have to wait a lot more, but we will be given less stuff to enjoy. An 2014 release seems more desperate then ever.

Well that sux.
I understand that such things need to be done.
But don't tell everyone that. Sounds like something that should be kept under wraps.

If you'd prefer, there could be no slippage and you could enjoy an unpolished game that arrived right on time. Angsting over the potential loss of features which couldn't have been delivered to the perfection you imagine in your head is a waste of time-- we don't cut things that are already completed and working.

An 2014 release seems more desperate then ever.

I'd caution against panicking over something that hasn't actually happened yet. The release date remains as Fall 2014.

I hope you guys don't have to push back then. Good luck.

It's still fun to speculate on what could be, though.

Every job can use every weapon..warriors may use dual weapons, rogues can use dual swords,,,etc..customization is what made DA different to most of other rpgs...they should the make game more on customization on the characters styles..
