I am testing out cool downs/power boosts on the firing range and ran across a potential problem with power magnifiers.
In situation one I have an SMG and Pistol, both with power magnifier V. Warp is rated at 737.5 damage when equiping either weapon.
In situation two I have an Assault Rifle and Pistol. With the AR Warp is rated at 737.5, with the Pistol it is rated at 812.5.
In situation three I have an SMG without the power magnifier, and a Pistol with one. When I equip the SMG Warp is rated at 737.5, when I equip the Pistol it is rated at 812.5.
It seems as though having both weapons equiped with the power magnifier does not allow the game to recognize the additional boost to your power damage. Instead, you need to transition between a non-power magnifier weapon and one equiped with a power magnifier for the game to factor in the additional damage.

Well, this gets even more interesting.

I will continue playing around with this. Something funky is going on.

You only get the bonus if the weapon with the magnifier is the currently equipped one. That is how it is supposed to function.
Not sure why base damage of Warp is changing from 737 to 662 for you, unless something else also changed.

This appears to be an artifact of the order in which you equip certain guns at the work bench. When we did the Koris mission both my SMG and Pistol appeared to have the correct (737.5) value for Warp. Note: I am checking these values by going into the squad menu after equipping each new weapon.

I think the armor bonuses are buggy when you check in the firing range, or near the bench on Normandy.
Otherwise, the power magnifier is working as intended.
