Just wondering if its in the game, I know alot of people think I should just buy it on xbox but mass effect is a game id rather sitback with. Ill prob preorder either way in afew days.

On the PC? That's not going to happen for several reasons the first of which is they need permission from MS and that's not going to happen. If you want to experience the amazing quality of gaming on a console....well...you'll need a console.

Yes you can actually, just down load a 3rd party program to use your controller and map your keyboard/mouse to the controller then you can use your controller even to use on the desktop let alone the actual game. It wont be as smooth as playing on a console but it will work.

Except that BioWare doesn't support it and it just makes for more possible screw-ups on a system not too well known for its stability. Additionally you can only assign a function per button so any combination that may be there is just something you can't have. The controller just plainly isn't supported on the PC.

True, but you can try it out with any other games you may have on the pc, and use a controller. I advise you use a wired controller or you'll have to buy an official xbox 360 receiver for controllers. I play Oblivion on the pc with an xbox controller and it works just as if i'm playing on the console version.
