I'm a little embarrassed to say, I do fine with the toolset till waypoints.
I understand story writing. I have a grip on how to manipulate the toolset, however loose.
But, every time I get to express my creative self through waypoints, I stop using it.
Not sure what to do? should I find another medium for story telling? or maybe, just decide to buck up, get a firm grip on the toolset?
waypoints?!

If you like the medium, learn the tools.

<pulling out his...>
A bit terse, perhaps, but true.
Or perhaps abit trite but consice.
Or *cough* Nevermind :-)
Waypoints are quite necessary to tell the game engine where to go and place things. What turns you off so abruptly with waypoints? Is there a particular difficulty?

Are you having difficulty understanding how to use them? if so have you looked at The Guide to Building Volume I – The Aurora Toolset Manual by The Builders Project ?

This might help a little bit. I found it in the tutorial for Axe Murderer's Killer Walk Waypoints System, and I think it quite nicely explains how NPC waypoints work.
