The result is that you just spent 5 times the price of the game on the game.

Time is more valuable than money to some people.

Thank you. I'm glad people realize this.

No problem. I should have written 'Time is more valuable than money to some lucky people.' ;)

There is honestly nothing wrong with him spending his disposable income on this. We're all acting as if 300 USD spread out on multiple games or multiple forms such as books and movies, would have been better.

The reality is, he spent 300 dollars on a series he loves and enjoys, and I'm okay with that. I hope you have fun with all your new gear

But time is money.

Also no amount of money can buy the intrinsic reward of play.

What's wrong with the PC?

Nothing aside from the fact that you could have maxed your manifest, without spending real money, very quickly.

I think the problem people are having is that on PC there is essentially a faster, more efficient, and much more economically feasible way to obtain more than what you bought, faster.

Namely, hax.

So the line in the sand really comes down to, would you pay $300 to obtain roughly 20-25% of what someone cheating would obtain 100% for free? (Ie: You gained a partly increased manifest for your dollars spent versus a full manifest for a few simple hax and some time in game.) Essentially it boils down to paying $300 for a moral choice.

Now whether someone finds that "right" or not it entirely up to their own self, I imagine there are a lot of different perspectives on that subject.

Me personally... I don't cheat despite the ease on PC to do so, but I don't pay anything either. I do however, posess the time to obtain what I have.

Nothing. As a few others pointed out, it is possible to hack yourself as many credits as you want on PC. That said, have fun with the stuff you unlocked.

EA greatly appreciates your contribution.

Yeah, don't feel too bad. I'm sure there are more people here who have spent real money in the store then they care to admit. Feel bad when ME4 comes out and the only way to get good stuff is to buy it with real money! :P

Food for thought: I am at 1380 hours, 35 minutes, and 5 seconds spent in game. I still do not have a maxed manifest.

I have just under 600 hours, and I unlocked the last gun I was missing right after I left.

One small edit and bam, you have 100 million credits to max your manifest.

I mean, I don't actually begrudge the idea of spending real money on packs, I spent money myself with the release of each dlc (20 bucks each new one) as a sign of support.

At this point though, with support dead and all, blegh, just hack the sh!t out of that thing.

you hack the game to get credit does not mean it is the right thing
what is the point of laughing people that use his real money to pay for the game content while encourging people to do a pirate?

Man, I don't mind paying for **** in MP. Somebopdy makes a product I want, I expect to pay for it. I mean, if I made a product someone wanted, I'd damn sure expect to be paid for it, so it seems only fair.

At the same time, though, I'm not about to pay money for the mere random chance to pick up something I want.

They say "vote with your wallet." I dunno who "they" are, but they say a lot of **** that sounds good but is actually just ****. I'm not gonna pay actually money for some random horse**** that I may or may not want. But more than enough folks like the OP are willing to pay for it.

And man, I just don't get that. I really don't...

But if BW can make money off of them, they're gonna keep doing this **** with future MP games. I honestly believe ME3 MP was just a...I dunno...sorta like a skinner box; some sort of running testbed to throw **** against the wall and see what sticks. And because of folks like the OP, this is one bit of **** that will stick in the future.

I'd like to be able to at least console myself with the knowledge that every single thing on my manifest was earned through skill and gameplay. But who really gives a **** about that when some new jack can potentially max out his Saber in ten minutes just because he's got some extra disposable cash sitting around with nothing better IRL to spend it on?

Like hookers and drugs.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with spending YOUR money on something you enjoy, especially since you have the disposable income for it.

People who pay for the packs or use the in-game stores help everyone else by supporting the game. On the other hand, this mp is no longer supported so a lot people are just hacking it. I'm on PC myself and I sunk about 323h in the mp since release. I could easily hack and finish up my manifest but I don't know that it would be any fun.

I want you to never stop talking because I found your engrish quite amusing, if momentarily. Really. When I read "to do a pirate" I lol'd, literally.

But if you want to use your native tongue go nuts, google translate/bing will no doubt cause me moments of amusement as well.
