I took a 4 month break this year and when I returned I lost some of my edge, too. I had to reacquire especially survivability again. First thing to remember again was to check the back frequently.

I'm on an ME 3 break, because my scrubbiness was getting to me.
I might go back to PuGing some day, but probably not. I think I like being carried by my friends more. Less stressful. Also, fewer obnoxious PuGs making weird noises into their microphones.

Yep, going through the same thing although i've been like this for quite a few months lol. Still play the game regularly, coz friends but, just can't concentrate since the "thrill" isn't there.

I always thought I was a man. But clearly I am not, because I have scrubbed many a toilet, and I know every word from your lips is truth.
OT: I had a small two week hiatus this month, and coming back to play felt down right weird, my headshotting was a little awkward, my timings a little rusty, everything on the screen felt strangely large and alien. Two nights in a row though now, and I'm back leading the pugs. Not that being better than pugs is hard, mind you.

It's very interesting that you made a thread about this. I have the exact same problem, could have written that myself. I'm definitely noticing that I'm playing more sloppily lately, making way too many mistakes. A few months ago, I was definitely better than I am now. It's strange to think that playing the game too much can lead to someone getting worse at the game. I don't rush around the map as well as I used to, and I'm dodging much less frequently than I used to. Aim did get a little worse. But most of all, I find myself going down way too often.

Found the same thing when I decided to play Citadel DLC in SP. I am pretty sure I did insanity for every ME3 character but really struggled to get into the SP groove after playing MP for so long.
