It is pretty good. It makes ridiculously quick work of mooks (incl. annoying phantoms, hunters etc.). It is not the best against bosses but that's where your powers come into play. Venom is one of the best at applying ammo types and you can reliably do TBs and FEs. About time you used it. The most fun gun in the game IMO.

3 more promotions... Adept, Soldier, and Engineer. Then its 50 promo's with all classes. It is the "end" all I set for myself way back when after maxing my manifest. Then if I never play again so be it. I hit my final goal set by myself (well short of 255 all ammos and amps etc and that aint ever gonna happen!)

It's fun in single player. Got nerfed majorly for MP. But I have a whole BatSlash build using the Venom for stagger so the bastards don't dodge my Warp/Clusterf*** attacks.
