I am pretty sure you can romance Garrus in ME2 even if you never recruit him in ME1. Excessive flirtations are not required.

Nah, he don't care. Never comes up in ME2. But your overall renegade/paragon stance when talking to him will alter a couple of lines of dialogue. But nothing about the romance is effected.

yea i know i just like to play deferant angles like iv played the love interest ok mostly Female and strait maby this time i will give the Male to male a try being that the first time Playing the game my male Shepard wound up with Garrus boy was i ever pissed i called my male shepard every name in the book lol
