Khelgar Vision quest Bug, Soldiers story bug

My first is with Khelgar. He has completed all 3 trials but Hilam will not give any conversation options about becoming a monk. None of the trials are in my journal anymore. I received the exp for doing all 3 trials but the trigger is not set for me to become a monk.
What is the console command to set this forward?
Second bug is with Soldier's story.
I went back to West Harbor mutliple times as I found more and more about Lorne and never got any dialog with Retta his mother. Even after I killed him and have his sword I still can not complete the quest as she doesnt have any dialog option for completing it.
How do I fix this one?

Were you ever able to resolve the first bug with Khelgar's vision quest? I'm at the same point: I can turn in the remaining trials to Hilam, but then the conversation just ends and there is no option to become a monk. Instead I can ask him about the trials again...

I've tried every means of approaching Retta at every conceivable time and even waved Lorne's falchion in her face... I'd have used his head if I'd had it...
Never got a response out of her.
The only result I've been able to provoke regarding Lorne is a subdued sort of "I know you had no choice but to kill the reeking evilist" line out of Bevil when he turns up at Crossroad Keep to join your Greycloaks. But this has no apparent effect upon the "Soldier's Story" quest. Haven't been able to persuade him to send a postcard back to his mother... and, I think, West Harbor's been obliterated by that point anyway.
One of these days I'm going to search through the conversation files to see if there is any relevant dialogue for Retta anywhere because this one's been annoying me.
Just as soon as I finish trying to insert Yuan-Ti Pureblood specific conversation options into the OC...
(As for Khelgar, I can't comment, as I can't abide him and try to avoid him at all costs... I try to kill him, actually, but you aren't allowed... I wish there was dialogue back at the Weeping Willow along the lines of "I'm not keen on travelling with an insane Dwarf... No, I mean it. Follow me and I'll reduce you to your base molecular components and distribute you across a considerable portion of Faerun with my newly invented "Get Rid of Despised Companion Spell"...)
