I read your explanation of the build and I still think it's terrible. Not taking Durability and Pierce lowers your cooldown by merely 0.5 seconds with a light loadout like that. And taking the magazine mod on the Acolyte over a damage barrel makes it even worse. Furthermore, the Pierce evolution on Warp increases your damage against barriers and armor, so not taking it on a build focused on power damage ...

Edit: Especially low-manifest players should take Pierce as it weakens armor further and enhances their weak weapons' deeps.

Your build is bad and you should feel bad. 

Low-manifest players are the only ones who would really benefit from Pierce, if you're using an Acolyte (already ignores armor DR) and a Hurricane with the piercing mod (assuming the mod is maxed), the benefit from Pierce's armor weakening is so minimal I'd take the recharge speed any day over it.

As for the increased armor/barrier damage, Warp does sh!t damage to begin with, especially when specced for BEs and debuff, a slightly faster cooldown (while not exactly an amazing benefit) for faster BEs is better.

I do agree in thinking that not taking the damage barrel on the Acolyte is not ideal (I'd drop the power mod though, not the magazine one).

People on here have been really nice about it, they're very friendly. They accept me as their superior. I taught them to recognise and respect the rank. They had to learn the hard way, unfortunately. But it was a lesson that they needed to be taught.

Pierce's multipliers apply to Incendiary glitch. Or so I've heard.
