Earth Mastery: Paladin or Demolisher.

I need to extract 10x with one more character for the Earth Mastery Challenge.
Which would you say is more fun? Paladin or Demolisher? I have played very little with both these classes so any advice/build and so on is welcome.
This is my current N7 Paladin build but I'm not sure about how to play it, safe for spamming powers and murdering stuff with the Harrier.
I don't have a build for the Demolisher.

I run 6/6/6/5/3 on the Paladin for power spamming. Never skip Incinerate.
I concur.

Max out snap freeze (reach, cryo explosion, armour weakening) and incinerate (radius, burning damage, frozen damage). I also like to max out energy drain (radius, synthetic thing, armour boost) and use it to get cryo explosions off of shields/barriers. Then I like to put 4 in fitness and 4 in passives (weapon damage). I use a talon pistol on him with heavy barrel, magazine upgrade and armour piercing or drill rounds. I spam snap freeze on enemies, followed by incinerate. Just keep spamming your powers and shooting when you have a cooldown.
You should never use a power amplifier on this character. Instead, use a cyclonic modulator (or adrenaline) and a geth scanner.

What weapon would you use with that build? What kind of strategy? More or less like an engineer?

I took that build from a platinum solo vid. I don't normally skip Incinerate on any other kit. I might give that a shot here as well.

Pretty much, it's all about combos. The Wraith, Talon and Arc Pistol are really good but I prefer the Collector SMG.

Build is dependent upon playstyle, I've tried a great deal of variations on the paladin. For CQC I like 6/3/6/5/6. Bash those faces.
6/6/6/4/4 or 6/6/6/5/3, either or, the 4/4 build gives you a bit more time to fire while taking fire. the 5/3 obviously is nice for the extra power damage.
Take a Geth Scanner if you have it, it's pretty much the best use of that piece of equipment.
Remember 6b in Snap Freeze is a waste of time.
For my part, playing up close and using my shield/heavy shield plant are just too fun. Using a heavy pistol/smg with power amp is something to consider if you're going power heavy.

Paladin, definitely. I don't find the demolisher to be as enjoyablem though I do have fun playing here from time to time.

I might also give this a shot instead of 6/6/6/4/4.
Thanks everyone, I have enough to go on experimenting for 10 games. Who knows? Maybe I will finally figure out why so many people enjoy this class. I sure found lots of other fun kits when doing the challenges.

If you don't have anything of what I just said go with the Paladin.

You're saying something like this? Although I would be tempted to swap for Damage and Capacity in the passives since powers would be your main damage source, no?XFG-65 wrote...

Yep that's the build right there. The mst important thing is maxing out all your powers. You can definitely go for damage and capacity if you wish, I sometimes choose that. It doesn't make much difference. The thing is, power damage doesn't affect your cryo explosions at all. It individually affects each of your powers (i.e. makes your incinerate a little stronger, makes your energy drain do a bit more damage, and makes your snap freeze do a little bit more damage). The weight capacity bonus is useful.

Skip homing grenade, set up arc grenades for electrical damage and armour damage, set passives for shields, as well as a mix of weapons damage, and power damage (to strengthen your grenades). set up supply pylon for ressupply, power damage bonus, and frequency
slap on a harrier and go to work

Fitness??
Homing Grenade's are too good to pass up because the debuff. It can set up nice Fire Explosions for pesky Dragoons, just set it off by throwing an Arc Grenade.

A weapon based paladin with snap freeze as debuff would enjoy the extra shields afforded by not taking incinerate. The build.
