That's because the paladin is annoying as hell.
But he sings like a girl ("Need assist!"). Atleast when I'm not the one who's playing him ("Enemy down").
Earth Mastery: Paladin or Demolisher.

I run the 66644 with the Paladin. Shield bashing build is fun if you can deal with the odd BS grab. Radius on all powers and Weapon damage in the passives as combos are uneffected and the difference in CD as long as you use a medium/light weapon is negligable. I prefer CSMG/Hurrican with Geth Scanner on him, but Shotguns also work well on him.
The Demolisher I Run without fitness. Arc Nades are really good for CC and TB's and the Homing Nades armor evo is just to good to pass up. Power damage in the passives.
See a spawn, throw Arc for stagger, fire Homing (Radius/Fire/Armor), follow up with an Arc and watch the fireworks. Harrier to face on everything left standing.
Maxing out fitness on her are too many points wasted, if you need fitness on her and don't have or want to use cyclonics, I would take two ranks out of either the Pylon or passives. I would only take ranks out of the passives if i were to replace cyclonics with Power Amps.

I would probably choose the Paladin out of the two, just because you can freeze things and then smack them with the shield. It is slightly more fun that lobbing 1000 grenades in a game.
If you want the 10 games to be leisurely though, then take the Demolisher and lob 1000 grenades per match.

Hello,
I need to extract 10x with one more character for the Earth Mastery Challenge.
Which would you say is more fun? Paladin or Demolisher? I have played very little with both these classes so any advice/build and so on is welcome.
This is my current N7 Paladin build but I'm not sure about how to play it, safe for spamming powers and murdering stuff with the Harrier.
I don't have a build for the Demolisher.
Do you like baseball or LARPing

Homing Grenades' armor "debuff" is not all that great.
I actually don't understand this sentiment. I'm not trying to be an **** about, but I see alot of people claiming this.
Even with 4B, 5A, 6A in the Demolishers passives, Power Amp 4 and Pistol Power magnifier (which is a setup I never use) the max damage is 2360 (with the two way 60% split of course). I think this a pretty heavy investment for about 800+ damage from my prefered setup which is 6B in the passives and without any other Power damage boosters, leaving the damage of each granade at 1560 with the added bonus of lowering armored damage reduction by 50%.
I actually find the "debuff" quite noticable.

Paladin for pro.
Paladin has more variety. When you get bored switch to full melee which is also quite fun.

Melee Build Demolisher. Skip Fitness. Put on a Strength Enhancer and Shocktrooper or Grenade Capacity. Equip her with a Venom and a Cerberus Harrier, Disruptor ammo. Play vs Cerberus and punch Phantoms after a Charged Venom shot. More fun than Snap Freezing with the Paladin, also less annoying. (cryo explosions are like Banshee screams after a while. ) Arc Grenades for groups and Homing Grenades for bosses along with the Cerberus Harrier.
If you don't have anything of what I just said go with the Paladin.
Why skip fitness on a melee build? I max it.
If anything, drop pylon down to rank 4 frequency, and drop the passive down to rank 4 capacity, so 4/6/6/4/6 with strength enhancer, grenade capacity and whatever weapon combination plus omni blades.

The debuff in question is "Decrease weapon damage mitigation of armored targets by 50% for 8 seconds."
You should be running some sort of piercing via mods or AP ammo, or armor weakening via Warp Ammo so you don't have to rely on Homing Grenades to debuff armor mitigation for your weapon.
Since this is only an armor weakening effect and not a true debuff like you get with Cryo Blast, Warp w/ Expose, or various other actual debuffs, it is not that great.
The armor damage bonus is not the debuff.

That debuff you speak of, do you even know what it does?
50% of 50 is 25.
It reduces armor by 25, something that pretty much every other ammo type as well as a weapon mod does better.

Game doesn't handle DoTs very well so stacking Inferno DoTs and Incinerate DoTs is excellent, plus he combos like a boss. Snap Freeze to prime (through walls for cover if you can) then hit with the preferred hitscan Drain (synth/shield/barrier) or projectile Incinerate (organic/armour) and blow everything up. He's also the only kit I have ever played that does best on geth (compared to other kits anyway) since he can safely drain all of them, and Snap->Drain is his most powerful combo (it being hitscan means it also bypasses banshee/phantom block, so long as they still have barriers to drain).
