I was wondering where the comic book is currently sold at. I've tried looking for it everywhere and so far Walmart, Borders, EB Games, Gamestop or any other book shop in the malls don't seem to carry any of the sort. So, where can I find it before next week without buying it online?

Any good comic shop will have it, but Dark Horse isn't exactly the biggest publisher. You might have to search a little bit.
I initially thought my comic shop didn't have it, but I asked the guy at the desk and he found it hiding in a corner.

I had to go to a comic shop 40 minutes from my house, because no big retailers were selling it. You'll probably have to do something similar. It's definately worth it. Good luck!

I have two comic shops in my town and one of them sold out straight away. The other had a couple issues left so I asked the guy to hold one for me. If you're comic shop is awesome, like mine, they'll make a "pull" list for you and you can ask that each ME: Redemption comic that comes in, have one held for you. As long as you go get it in a timely manner they're usually pretty okay about it. This has been my experience at least.

The comic book store I got mine from let me order it from them directly since I don't think they were going to originally have it in stock. Hopefully, if you can find yourself a comic book retailer, they'll let you do the same thing.
Unfortunately for me, I had to do the same thing as Mariah5 and travel 40ish minutes to pick it up. No big deal, though, since the city has a magnificent selection of sushi bars

Issue #3 just came out yesterday. So far, I'm liking the mini-series. I think there's only one more issue to go (4 parts, I think). From reading about the comic's success, it seems like Dark Horse might give the writers a chance at an on-going series. I read an interview with the Mac Walters saying that he had a couple ideas floating around, if he had the chance to do another ME comic book series.
What are you guys thinking about the comic so far?

I like issue 3 the best so far, Feron is awesome. I think I know who he's secretly working for too.

I'm really enjoying it. Still waiting for my #3 to drop through the door though. And Shurijo, I saw that Mac Walters interview as well. Notice that the trade paperback is titled Mass Effect Volume 1: Redemption. The volume 1 bit makes me think Dark Horse have already greenlit another series (of course these suspicions have nothing to do with the consecutive sell-outs) but I'm expecting another mini-series rather than an ongoing one. My bets are on the Archangel "origin" story, or perhaps a Zaeed series, starting shortly before his troubles with Vido began...

I think doing a few mini-series following a few of the ME1 and ME2 characters would be interesting. I wouldn't even mind if they did some comics of the two novels.
