total time played in game and N7 ranking introduce from the begining of the game
but challenge point start from the game release after 9 months
so obviously is wrong answer

Promoting takes a lot of skill. Sometimes I go to click the promote button and I bump the mouse and click somewhere else.

I have an N7 ranking of 720, and it doesn't really mean anything because respec cards exist, therefore you don't need to promote.

In the OP's defense, the promotion level was a proposed benchmark before N7 HQ came around, so its not like they are being ridiculous.
Just play with them, you've no idea really.

I've made PUG games my N7 life. I've seen it all.

There was actually a time early in the game where an N7 >1000 was cause for suspicion, because it seemed only the idiot players promoted that much.

This was before numerous promotion based Weekend Operations and the introduction of the Challenge system though.
