He's not even that good. He's 4th and decided to throw out the PC rankings because "It's a seperate entity" just so his rank would "increase". He's probably got a Hummer with the decal "2nd highest N7 in the world (on console)" and the brass balls hanging from the trailer hitch because he feels that much need to compensate for his obvious lack of skill.

I think N7 gives a hint towards a players skill, but not necessarily the deciding factor. I think what's more important about N7 is diversity of the promotions. If you have a high N7 because you promoted your adept 100 times but never used anyone else, then all that tells me is that you're good at playing the adept.

I think the more recreational players have classes that they can play really well, and classes they're not so strong with. So when I PUG with someone, I'd feel more at ease with their skill seeing a varity of promoted classes rather than just one dominant class.

Not that you can tell that from a lobby, but regardless..

From a personal point of view, I promote - just so that I feel as though I'm accomplishing something (and I'm not saying that those who don't promote don't achieve things).

Again, from an entirely personal stance, playing low-level characters helps me to keep my skills sharp - it teaches me to be sensible, take cover, strategise etc etc.

No, I don't think that a large N7 is indicative of skill - maybe just experience (those who have been playing the game for a long time [if they choose to promote - and not all do]).

Sure, there are respec cards. Personally I ignore those (they just add more junk to the RNG store). I like to promote because I can try out different builds - I'm a really indecisive person!

100+ adept promotions... great.  100+ anything (other than soldier) promotions... great.  100 solider promotions and not even close with all others tells me you rocked your destroyer/striker combo and just kept promoting while you missile glitched and are, more than likely, bad.

N7 "rank" means someone has the time to play this game that's it.I have pugged with 2 people who to me are the best I have seen, granted I have not been in every lobby,b00g13man and pub bloke b00g13man N7 I think 120/ pub almost 30,000 now from what I have seen from these 2 players is that they can kill everything on the map while the rest of the team runs around with there gun in one hand and there ****** or vagaygay in there other hand.So Imo N7 = time
