Each PUG you educate is a small victory against the RNG. I used to do this as well, but I've had…unpleasant reactions.ClydeInTheShell wrote...

Go away, pug!! If I help people, how the fuck am I going to dominate the scoreboard?!ClydeInTheShell wrote...
If you're complaining about the players in gold lobbies, do something positive about it. The players I came up with taught me to play when I wasn't gold ready. Clearly there are a lot of players still learning the ropes in pugs, perhaps they could use someone to point them in the right direction.
When you help them and still outscore them, it makes it all the more impressive.
On a serious note, I realize this only works with some players and others will tune you out. It is to be expected, but crying about randoms never solved a damn thing.
I've only done it once or twice but I'd rather try that than complain. Playing gold for a lot of players is a mental thing, myself included. Once you jump in and get accustomed to the speed, wave budgets, etc, it's fun. Having someone to ease you in helps you have confidence after some time once you go it alone.
