Already started a new variant
Good and interesting thing for painting practice.

Nice pic OP, but it doesn't give off salarian vibe in my opinion.
Anyone here know about the game Endless Space? The moment I saw Sophon and Pilgrim spaceships design, I was instantly reminded of Mass Effect, Salarians and/or Asari specifically, for some reason.

Those actually look pretty cool. I could see either one as Salarian.

Better?
Much, much better. However it looks fairly heavy, akin to a dreadnought, and if it weren't for the windows (that's what I assume they are?) that's probably what I'd confuse it for. I imagine a cruiser being a bit shorter and wider (but not by much, since this is mostly an illusion from the ship being shorter, like the Alliance examples in this image). To be fair, it's hard to judge the size of your cruiser without a comparison to a dreadnought and frigate.Seival wrote...

I'm sure that during the Surkesh mission when you're facing Cerberus there are a couple of possibly Salarian ships flying about (not just Cerberus shuttles); I've never took the time to have a good look though.

I think a couple more improvements could be made. I think the bits sticking out the side need to be removed, to make the whole thing look more streamlined and aerodynamic. Also, lose the blue paint on the hull and make the silver sterile white. Blue lights are good/Seival wrote...

Love it. You could try and make the hull completely sterile white as RussianZombeh said, but I personally like the blue parts. REALLY liking the blue air inflow-like things below the window ports. If you choose to revamp the design further, at least keep those.Seival wrote...
