Which is your favourite/least hated?
The turian saboteur, vorcha engineer, or batarian sentinel?

For me, as many can guess, the TSab is the don of duds.

VHE is the only Vorcha I like to play and BatSent the only Batarian and I like all Turians equally. So from those 3 specifically TSE>BatSent>VHE.

Turian Saboteur has Homing Grenades which can one hit kill Brutes if set up correctly and Sabotage which is one the best stunning powers in the game. He also has Turian Stability passives. How is he bad?

Vorcha Engineer has Bloodlust which is basically unlimited OPs Packs, all you need to do is run away and regenerate health. He also has Incinerate and we all know how much cheesy Incinerate is. How is he bad?

Batarian Sentinel has Blade Armor and one of the best melees in the game. How is he bad?

The TSab is usable if you slap on a Harrier and Warfighter Gear and get close enough to land Homing Grenades whilst the target is primed with Sabotage.

You realise the list includes:

The VSent spawn nuker (horrendously good on Glacier)
The TGI
The BatSol
The BatDept (Drelldept for scrubs)
The BatGuard (flying fist of fun)
The TSol (e.g. Turricane)
The TSent (everybody's bro)

Then, I'd argue slightly behind them, are the:

Turian Cabal (fully awesome but tricky to use, especially off-host)
Turain Havoc (again a bit host dependent)
BatSent who's virtually unkillable
VEngie (slap a Falcon on him and lockdown everything with shots, SubNet and Incinerate to detonate)
VSol who you might use over the VSent if the team is already grenade spammer heavy

So, I dunno - I rate all of those better than the TSab... but I don't hate the TSab

Yeah - I don't hate the character, I just don't think he really compares too well against anything else in the list...

Venom/Incendiary is amazeballs on the Cabal for instance (when hosting).

Falcon + Disruptor vs Geth works better on the TSent than Krysae/Disruptor/TSab.


I have tried several build but, tbh, I really can't be arsed with the TSab... he's a bit beige. To be fair though, I've not actually tried the Venom on him, might give it a crack tonight, see if it makes him any more interesting... the most fun I generally have with him is hacking Cerberus Turrets ... and I'd rather use a QFI normally.

At first I thought it said, "Turian vs Vorcha Batman" and I am now very sad.

Edi: On topic, the TS is awesome. I got top spot in a gold match the fist time I ever played it. Throw down your turret and take control of an enemy with sabotage. That alone will take care of most situations. Throw out your gernades if you're in a fix, and turian passives giving you weapon damage and survivability.

I just hate the hoomin 'nades and therefore can't really get friendly with the TS. Also, I'm still missing the venom. feelsbadman.

Vorchas and batarians are awesomesauce anyway, so there's that. I struggled with the BatSent for a while until I got bored and tried my hands at a RP gold solo with the Kishock and pulled it off without problem. I'm kinda bad at soloing usually and the kishock can be tricky to handle. and of course hatesurfing.

If you consider sabotage+homing nade to be a good 1-2 tactic, sure

but asides from the melee build his powers really have 0% synergy.
